Barnes Art Fair 2023: 16 -18 November
Buy a special piece of artwork for someone – or yourself! – for Christmas
The fabulously successful Barnes Art Fair is opening its doors for the 6th year in a row, 16 -18 November. A Private View will also take place on 15 November between 6-8pm.
Barnes Art Fair has firmly established itself in the lively Barnes cultural calendar as the fine arts exhibition and sales event of the year.
Over 40 local fine artists and contemporary painters, printmakers, sculptors, and ceramicists will be taking part again this year as well as special guests from East London Printmakers.
Among those exhibiting are Pookie Blezard (Nasturtium Forest), who works in oils: ‘There is something magical bout losing yourself while starting at a flower or still-life for hours.’
Toby Messer (The Bulls Head & Watermans Arms) finds endless inspiration in Barnes, while retired QC, Bruce Houlder (Roof Terrace, Lindos), is a talented watercolourist, who loves using strong colour.
Local art fairs play an important role in nurturing the creativity of the local community, providing a platform for artists to showcase their talents, connect with their local community and, hopefully, build up a loyal clientele.
In 2022 Barnes Art Fair raised over £4,000 for charity. This year the fair is raising money for the two charities, Fighting Knife Crime London and The Leprosy Mission.
