Three local voluntary organisations, which went to great lengths to help feed the vulnerable during lockdown, have been awarded £120,000 in extra funding by the Government and Richmond Council. The money will go towards supporting residents who are struggling to afford food and other essentials. Citizens Advice Bureau, Richmond AID and RUILS, who grouped together to offer co-ordinated support, will use the funding to enable individuals and families to get the supplies and advice they need when times are difficult, making sure no one will unnecessarily go hungry.
