Green Hub in Kew
Habitats & Heritage is creating a new Green Hub at Raleigh Road Recreation Ground in Kew to boost biodiversity and enrich the local environment. Supported by the LBRuT Community Fund, the project will introduce wildlife-friendly features including community planters for vegetables and flowers, a pollination station, a stag beetle loggery and a minibeast log pile. These improvements aim to enhance habitats for
birds, insects, pollinators and hedgehogs while offering space for community food growing. The initiative will also provide new resources for outdoor learning, benefiting local children, including those at Windham Nursery.
