Kew Neighbourhood Association is looking for volunteers. As heating bills skyrocket this winter, we at Kew Neighbourhood Association want to be available to take Kew neighbours who are in need to places in our community which are able to offer a warm welcome, like social clubs and classes.
For over 40 years our KNA volunteers have helped neighbours maintain independence and wellbeing and this winter they will be more important than ever to vulnerable people who rely on a lift to get themselves out and about, away from the risk of social isolation and the cold in their homes.
Our volunteers give their time to drive neighbours to medical and social appointments, making a huge difference to their quality of life. KNA is able to cover petrol mileage expenses.
KNA connects people in need with our volunteers. All our helpers are checked and referenced. If you are a driver with access to a car and 30 minutes to give 2-3 times a month, we would love to hear from you.
See www.kna.org.uk for information and contact us by email at: mail@kna.org.uk or call 07951 293 319.
