On until 27 July.
In 1982 a new play by Michael Frayn premiered at the Lyric. Now 37 years on, this iconic comedy returns to the Lyric stage. With split-second timing highlighting the unpredictability of theatre, it takes us behind the scenes in what has been called one of the funniest plays of all time. A fabulous cast includes Meera Syal, Simon Rouse, Daniel Rigby and Debra Gillett and a new production by Jeremy Herrin (Wolf Hall, This House). Michael Frayn says: ‘It is the greatest pleasure for me, to see my play come, to the theatre where it took its first hopeful bust still uncertain steps.’
