A new play by Zoe Cooper (Jess & Joe Forever), Out Of Water is a play about gender, wild swimming and how we define who we are. Lesbian couple, Claire and Kit, move from London to the coast of South Shields to be nearer family and the sea and to have their baby. But as Claire, a teacher, finds out, she has as much to learn from her students as they do from her. The play is a joint commission between the Orange Tree and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
