Richmond Council is urging local families and individuals who are struggling financially due to the impact of COVID-19 and need help and support accessing food, paying for school uniforms, energy bills or other household essentials, to come forward to apply for financial help.
Last year, the Council awarded a number of grants to local organisations to enable them to support hard pressed families and individuals in Richmond and the help will continue, as needed.
There are many local charities that are working with the Council to provide this help, including Homestart Richmond, River Bank Trust, Crossroads Care Richmond, Richmond AID and Citizens Advice Richmond.
