If you love reading and discussing non-fiction books, a new reading group now meets every third Wednesday of the month at the Information and Reference Library in Richmond. You don’t need to have read a book beforehand – this is a chance to sit with a tea or coffee whilst listening to others or reading a selection of non-fiction material. The group is free to join – just turn up. Says Amanda Stirrup, Head of Libraries in Richmond: ‘A reading group is a great way of meeting new people and sharing an interest in a relaxed environment. So, if you enjoy natural history, factual information, biographies and true life, why not come along.’ 2.30-4pm. Information and Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond TW9 1TP
