When Ruth Wolf, a white female doctor- played by the esteemed Juliet Stevenson- bans a black Catholic priest from seeing a young girl after an unsuccessful abortion, it catches the eye of the media, and her life is plunged into turmoil. Directed by Robert Icke, together the protagonists lead the audience through thought-provoking debates concerning racial tensions and medical ethics.
