The Real Junk Food Project – the café that operates weekly from the ETNA centre – has taken to the streets. The Project uses surplus food from supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, turning it into meals for visitors to the centre, so it doesn’t go to waste – feeding ‘bellies not bins’. Now they are taking that food out into the community, with the help of local supermarkets like Waitrose and Tesco with produce that would have gone straight to landfill.
