Wandsworth: Swim & gym for free
Wandsworth Council is offering those on Universal Credit free leisure centre memberships, so that those who are usually priced out of using them – particularly during the current cost of living crisis – can keep fit and healthy. Young people under age 16 and those who receive free school meals will also be able to swim for free, along with a parent or guardian. Children between 11 and 16 can also use the free junior gym. Residents with proof of eligibility can create a free Places membership online and use of the gym and swimming pool will off peak – before 5.30pm on weekdays and all day at weekends.
