The Barnes Food Fair 2025 features over 100 small food and drinks businesses, showcasing everything from artisan cheeses and organic produce to bold international flavours and sweet treats. Street food vans and food stalls will be onsite for freshly cooked delicacies, so you can immerse yourself in vibrant flavours and indulge in everything from traditional dishes to innovative fusion creations.
The Events Stage at the Barnes Food Fair, in the main marquee, will host a free programme of demonstrations and tastings throughout the day. Highlights include Foraging & Mushroom Hunting with Mike de Stroumillo, founder of the Wild Room; English Wine Tasting with Hawkins Bros and Concocting & Coctails with Forage Liqueurs. The Bingham Riverhouse and The Ginger Pig return with special demos.
The Barnes Community Association will be serving their famous Pimm’s and all refreshments can be enjoyed in front of a selection of live bands, giving you even more reason to enjoy your gastronomic journey.
Since its launch in 2012, the Barnes Food Fair has become a hallmark annual food event in southwest London, centred around Barnes Green and the nearby Barnes Pond. Founded by the Barnes Community Association (BCA), it was created to showcase local and artisanal produce in response to growing demand for fresh, locally sourced food in the community .
Each year, the Fair features a diverse line-up of stalls representing local farmers, bakers, cheesemakers, and food artisans—often focusing on sustainable or organic products. Over time, the event has expanded to include live cooking demonstrations by high-profile chefs, participatory workshops, and street food offerings.
Over the years, the Fair has become more than just a food showcase—it’s a vibrant community celebration, strengthening local ties, supporting small businesses, and contributing significantly to charitable causes.
