It was while local author, Barbara Panetta, an Italian novelist, was sitting in her garden, listening to her daughter practise piano, and watching a column of ants struggling to collect a biscuit crumb, that the idea for the book – Chloe’s promise – came to her. The book and its accompanying video, aims to reinforce the importance for children to rest as well as work and to keep their promises. The book is free to download but donations will be given to charities Momentum and NHS Charities Together. Ben Shepherd presenter of ITV’s Good Morning Britain is narrating the story, while pianist Alessandro Viale will create the soundtrack.
