The Sun Inn – Barnes
Fantastic location next to Barnes Pond on the edge of Barnes Common. Great for Sunday brunch before a walk across the Common or along the nearby Thames towpath. thesuninnbarnes.co.uk
The Hare & Hounds – East Sheen
200 seats in their lovely large garden and a great atmosphere inside, too. An excellent menu, with seasonal dishes and friendly staff. Once a coaching inn, there has been a pub on this spot since 1776. theharesheen.co.uk
Tap on the Line – Kew
A small seating area outside but a good number of tables and perfectly situated to watch the hive of activity that is Kew Parade, particularly on market days, which are on the first Sunday on the month and start back on 2 May. The Marlborough – Richmond
Situated on the top of Richmond Hill, this traditional pub has a huge garden. Plenty of outside heaters until the weather warms up. Sumptuous Sunday roasts and great pub food, using seasonal ingredients. themarlboroughrichmond.co.uk
The White Swan – Twickenham
Perfect position on the banks of the Thames, with a gentle causeway, perfect for dogs to paddle while you sit and have a drink, watching the rowers pass by. Great atmosphere and good food compliments the wonderful location. whiteswantwickenham.co.uk
