All parts of society have found the lockdowns and continuing – and ever-changing – restrictions hard. AgeUK has a Telephone Befriending Service and they are now offering a specific line of help for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender older people in the community, as they understand the importance of being able to talk to someone who understands your situation. They offer weekly calls when needed and, when allowed to, will run LGBTQ+ get togethers.
