Alexandra Steele is being hosted by The Russell Gallery in Putney for her latest exhibition. Alexandra was born in Scotland in 1946 and for over 25 years was a specialist art teacher in Central Scotland before becoming a full-time artist. Alexandra has had several one –person shows with The Russell Gallery. She paints the deserted beaches and Crofts on the West Coast of Scotland and still life studies, mostly from her garden in Stirlingshire. She uses thick paint applied with a palette knife.
