A great local community event, Kew Sparkle is a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit, with Station Parade festooned with a thousand sparling lights. With plenty of stallholders, on sale will be gifts, beautiful wreaths, stocking fillers, decorations and delicious food from cakes to roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. Among the stalls will be flower jewellery from At One With Nature, beautiful Christmas wreaths from Wild ‘n’ Faux (see below), Unique Creations & Gifts, JLT Crafty Designs and, if you fancy a tipple as you wonder round, Fabulously Fizzy and Hampton Court Gin.
As usual, there will be the fairground rides for little ones, a mobile nativity farm, festive music and, of course, the choirs from local schools, plus a Christmas Carol Sing-Along. Santa Claus will be his Grotto, waiting to hear the Christmas wishes.
