Richmond: Garden waste collections
If you don’t have a car to take your garden waste to Townmead Road recycling centre (fondly known as ‘the dump’), then Richmond Council will pick up your garden detritus from your house for free. Collections of up to 10 sacks can be booked fortnightly and will be picked up on the same day as your dustbins. The waste sacks must be the Council approved – £21.30 for 10 which will be posted to you within seven days. You can book your collection up to 12 noon the day before your dustbin day.
